Kontiki Winds, a Havfram Company exits consortium with RWE and NTE prior to bid submission for Utsira Nord

Kontiki Winds, a Havfram Company has announced the end of the collaboration with RWE and NTE on the bid for the tender of Utsira Nord in Norway.

Kontiki Winds highlights the excellent working relationship with both consortium partners, thanks RWE and NTE for the valuable collaboration and wishes the best with their bid.

In September 2021, Havfram, NTE and RWE joined forces to participate in the licence process to develop floating offshore wind power at Utsira Nord.

Utsira Nord, located around 30 kilometres off the Norwegian coast, is open for the construction of up to 1.5 gigawatts (GW) of floating offshore wind. RWE and NTE will continue their cooperation and will jointly submit an application to develop offshore wind power at Utsira Nord.
